OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Technical Project Manager at BLVR, you are responsible for collaborating across internal and external teams to deliver best-in-class digital experiences and implementations. You are responsible for project scoping, project planning, resource planning and management, estimating, workflow management, risk mitigation, and delivery management across all digital (website, digital production, etc.) projects. Equally important is a passion for technology and the ability to help drive creative solutions within the digital space.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Owns gathering and documentation of business requirements, pre-planning meetings to assess project scope, agency resources, and proper capabilities alignment
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
• Plan timelines and resources, and manage team execution in collaboration with agency peers to ensure project completion on time, on quality and on budget
• Manage and mentor Technical Project Managers and Coordinators
• Work alongside Project Management and Creative Resources teams to ensure resources are secured for digital projects.
• Clear, concise and accurate communication to clients throughout the project life cycle
• Develop, drive, and revise timelines, assign resources, manage approvals and deliverables
• Manage agency internal resources (UX, Web Design, Web Copywriting, Development, QA), external resources (dev partners, 3rd party vendors), and contribute ongoing digital insights to ensure digital solutions meet client expectations and BLVR quality standards
• Facilitate stand-up status meetings as needed
• Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team
• Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the engagement
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
• Enforce project schedules ensuring deadlines and launch dates are met
• Effectively prioritize project deliverables & assignments
• Track, prioritize, manage and report issues related to a given project
• Ability to review sophisticated sitemaps, use cases, and wireframes and provide meaningful feedback and understand where scope may be impacted
• Acts as a traffic controller to ensure various website tasks continue moving to completion at all times
• Schedules and coordinates website project tasks with Frontend Developers, Backend Developers and System Administrators
• Tracks project progress and ensure projects remain on schedule
• Manages and allocates resources to ensure that web team members have the tools necessary to complete projects successfully
• Helps identify potential roadblocks and their solutions before a web project’s timeline is put in jeopardy
• Interface with clients to collect and verify requirements
• Interface with graphic designers to collaborate on site designs
• Interface with site developers to manage the development of sites
• Interface with content developers
• Coordinate testing of websites
• Provides CMS training to clients to educate them how to manage their websites

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• 5+ years of project management or digital producer experience in an agency setting
• Proven success in the strategy, planning, and implementation of client facing projects
• A hands-on background in web development processes and platforms
• Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
• Exemplary communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Highly honed team management skills
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc
• Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 Javascript
• Must have a great bedside manner
