Marketing Intern

 

BLVR’s internship program offers college students an inside look at day-to-day life at a full-service marketing agency. We teach you the ropes on how to create meaningful marketing and brand campaigns that resonate with consumers. You’ll have a unique opportunity to learn from professionals in a diverse set of creative disciplines: marketing, copywriting, digital advertising, SEO, digital design, and web development, and more.

 

Through dedicated assignments, each intern will yield professional skills and their own set of work samples that can be utilized for online portfolios and beyond – offering a solid foundation for the future.

Fall: September – December

Spring: January – May

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and editing content for use on client projects
  • Provide social media support (e.g., crafting/scheduling content, community management)
  • Provide digital advertising support (e.g., assisting on campaign strategy, reporting via Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Google AdWords, and more)
  • Monitor community forums for client opportunities and engagement
  • Create media lists, schedule press release distributions on an as-needed basis via CisionPoint
  • Research blogs, media outlets, PR activity, marketing efforts, etc.
  • Provide competitive research and analysis support
  • Organizing photos and videos for use on websites
  • Administrative duties, inclusive of research
  • Working in conjunction with web and marketing teams
  • Participating in ideation sessions
  • 1520 hours per week, Monday through Friday (flexibility on hours)
Skill Requirements:
  • Must be a junior or senior in college
  • Must have an eye for good design
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Sprout Social, CisionPoint, Google Analytics a plus
  • Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
