“By joining over 3,000 like-minded companies on a global scale, we are redefining the standards of ethical business practices and social responsibility. We are creating a positive impact in the lives of our team members and communities around the globe.” Said Adam McWethy, COO and partner of BLVR. “B Corp Certification recognizes our purpose-driven efforts and reinforces our commitment to make a difference in the world.

Only 4% of the 120,000 companies who have taken the B Impact Assessment become certified. BLVR not only hit the threshold, but scored above and beyond the requirement. At its core, BLVR is passionate about using business to help make a difference in the world. They do this by selecting one humanitarian nonprofit each year. Then they dedicate 10% of their profits to help fund their incredible work.

“Using our resources to make the world a better and brighter place is something we at BLVR have always deeply believed in and been committed to.

– Scott Hancock

To celebrate their inaugural year as a B Corp, BLVR partnered with Love Does. Love Does is an extraordinary organization started by New York Times best-selling author Bob Goff. Love Does brings light and joy to the world by fighting for human rights and providing education to children in conflict zones. BLVR’s donation helped fund nine (9) college scholarships for students in Northern Uganda through the Love Does Launch Program. In addition, BLVR designated funds to help support teachers at the Love Does Restore Leadership Academy who have been working hard to continue educating students amidst the effects of Covid-19.

“Using our resources to make the world a better and brighter place is something we at BLVR have always deeply believed in and been committed to.” Said Scott Hancock, CEO of BLVR. “As business leaders, we all have a choice to make. We can either be givers or takers. To be part of the problem or part of the solution. We can raise our own ship or we can use our time, talent, and treasure to help raise the ships of many.”

Scott continued, “At BLVR, we stand for something bigger. We want to impact people’s lives for good. Our goal is to inspire a culture that shines a light on injustice, lifts up those who are less fortunate, and inspires others to leave the world better than they found it. By joining B Corp, we elevate our voice by standing together with so many other like-minded voices to create an even sweeter melody. This isn’t just a trend or a marketing ploy—it’s love in action. Let’s go!”

In 2021, BLVR plans to partner with Love, Light & Melody. They are an organization created by Founder/Musician, Brad Corrigan (Member of Dispatch) that helps the vulnerable children of Nicaragua. This year, BLVR in addition to financial donations plans to use their team’s talents to help the organization build out their brand and vision identity.
