Maggie leads BLVR’s Strategy department, drawing on her decade of cross-functional experience building and positioning brands across a wide range of verticals. Over the years, she’s had the pleasure of partnering with some of the world’s leading brands including Nordstrom, TABASCO, Disney, Bare Escentuals, Cox Communications, Gruppo Campari, Cisco Systems, and Union Bank. Whether it’s established category leaders that need a refresh or emerging category disruptors that need to punch above their weight, Maggie is passionate about helping brands to better understand their consumers, identify the competitive white space, and articulate their purpose in a meaningful way.
Director of Digital & Production
Nathan is a digital production veteran with over 15 years of experience. He joined BLVR from Chiat Day where he served as the Director of Digital Production from 2016 to 2020. While at Chiat, Nathan was responsible for fostering digital and social innovation across the agency. He has specifically led multi-platform work for brands including Taco Bell, Gatorade, PlayStation, Nintendo, Airbnb, Kraft, The Grammys and Pop Secret.
Every day, Nathan aspires to build teams and make people feel something, rather than simply tell them something. He believes collaboration is the foundation of building impactful, original and shareable brand experiences. He feels fortunate to have had his work recognized at Cannes, The One Show and ANDYs, among others.
Damin brings two decades of award-winning design experience to the creative team at BLVR. He is passionate about conceptualizing and designing ways for brands to communicate with authenticity and heart. He encourages the creative team to push boundaries, striving for smart, disruptive work that goes beyond aesthetics. Sterling has created hundreds of identities and worked with a range of clients including global brands like TaylorMade Golf, the San Diego Chargers, Switchfoot, and international nonprofits such as Restore International, World Vision, and The Steven Spielberg Foundation.
Eric is an expert web developer and development team leader. He is driven to create meaningful web experiences that delight users and solve client problems. He has extensive knowledge of all web-based programming languages, with a focus on LAMP stack, Magento, and WordPress. His experience ranges from building custom back-end solutions to implementing existing front-end technologies—all while learning and applying new techniques.
Jesse Ryan Barrick
Jesse has been a high impact technology executive in San Diego for over 18 years. In 2001 he founded Sisera Technologies which has a dynamic team with a national reach that he still leads today. In 2009, he came alongside BLVR and has shaped and executed their information technology strategy since then. He has helped the world’s largest hosted Exchange provider expand their business and was personally responsible for over 1% of their business. More recently, over the past 5 years, one of his focuses has been on deploying high performance, high security Cisco Meraki networking equipment across the country and no one has deployed more organizations in San Diego than him. Jesse is passionate about reaching the world for Christ and showing his love to others through giving. He has been attending the Rock Church since its founding in 2000 and has been a volunteer in their children’s ministry since 2001 (longer than anyone else). He met his wife Bethany while serving together in 2001 and they have two daughters. In November 2001, Jesse and his wife were named Rock Church Heroes. For hobbies, he enjoys surfing and craft beer.
Melanie brings over eight years of marketing experience, spanning traditional, digital, and experiential. She’s worked with global brands like PayPal, eBay, and TD Ameritrade at leading agencies on both coasts. Her unique skillset is a blend of account management and business development expertise, and as a lifelong learner, she can always share a podcast or documentary recommendation.
